Refund Policy - the basics

Welcome to www.Gozindagi.in
By accessing, using, browsing, or booking through this website or directly/indirectly via Gozindagi.in or its representatives, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by the terms and conditions outlined below, and that you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

1. Booking & Payment Policy:
  • A minimum of 60% advance payment is required to confirm any booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid before tour commencement for domestic clients or prior to arrival in India for international travelers.

  • The exact payment schedule depends on the nature of service, vendor policies, and time remaining before travel.

Modes of Payment:

  • International payments can be made via Bank Transfer/Wire Transfer.

  • For credit card payments, applicable gateway charges will be added.

  • On-arrival payments may be accepted in cash or through credit cards.

  • Cheques are not accepted under any circumstances.

2. Prices and Inclusions:

Package costs generally include:

  • Hotel accommodation

  • Taxes as applicable

  • Specified meals (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner, if mentioned)

Exclusions: Personal expenses such as telephone calls, beverages, laundry, tips, and services from the mini-bar are not included.

3. Cancellation Policy:

In case of cancellation, written notice must be provided. Refunds will be based on the following schedule:

  • 60 days before arrival: 10% cancellation charge

  • 40 days before arrival: 25%

  • 15 days before arrival: 30%

  • 10 days before arrival: 40%

  • 72 hours before arrival: 50%

  • Less than 72 hours / No Show: No refund

Note:

  • Special train/airfare bookings and peak-season hotels may have different policies.

  • Cancellations must not be communicated directly to hotels.

  • Visa fees (for outbound tours) are strictly non-refundable.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds for unused services will follow the cancellation policy above.

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be credited to the original mode of payment.

  • Please allow 2–8 weeks for refund processing.

  • In cases where the company offers an alternative service due to unavailability and the client accepts, further cancellations will follow the stated policy.

5. Tariff, Tax & Revision Clause

  • Tariffs are subject to change in case of hikes in fuel, taxes, entrance fees, or hotel revisions.

  • Hotels may revise room rates; Gozindagi.in shall not be liable for such changes.

  • Government taxes and levies, if revised, will be charged extra from the customer.

6. Responsibilities & Liabilities:​

  • Gozindagi.in acts as a travel facilitator and is not liable for services provided by third-party vendors (hotels, airlines, transporters).

  • We are not responsible for delays or service disruptions caused by weather, political unrest, natural calamities, or any unforeseen circumstances.

  • Personal belongings and baggage are the responsibility of the traveler.

7. Insurance:

We do not provide insurance coverage. Clients are advised to purchase appropriate travel and health insurance from their home country.

8. Service Complaints:​

Feedback and complaints are welcome to help us improve. However, Gozindagi.in will not be liable for lapses in third-party services unless previously informed in writing.

9. Errors and Omissions:​

We are not responsible for typographical or clerical errors. Please verify all information before travel.

10. Amendments to Terms​ :

Gozindagi.in reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time to align with operational needs or legal changes.

11. Legal Jurisdiction:

All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Civil Courts in Varanasi, India.
